Biz Evde Yokuz is a resource for readers who are seeking adventure and experience by traveling in both Turkey and abroad.
They needed a redesign for their logo that would reflect the personality and business as well as attract the ideal, adventurer, fun-loving readers. The new logo’s identity also needed to be in line with a new blog, nomaddiction.
We took off with a branding strategy workshop to redefine the brand(s) and did the positioning. Underlining the brand’s culture, values, voice and audiences for the next step: turning abstract ideas to concrete solutions.
The output keywords from our chit-chat workshop sessions, helped understand and analyse patterns to connect the dots to solve out problem.
The “Aha!” moment
The idea behind the new logo came almost naturally. Keeping the highlighted words in mind, I, befittingly, took a road trip and walking in the woods did the magic.As a trekking enthusiast, I was very familiar with the trail marks on routes. Trail marks or blazes) are those painted marks you can see on nature walks. They help you travel with confidence for miles without feeling lost.Just like “biz evde yokuz” or “nomaddiction” do with their detailed contents.
Guide to Adventure
As “biz evde yokuz” was using pink and blue on their old logo as an identification. Trail marks created a great opportunity to keep using the two colors, in a meaningful way. It also helped our problem with referencing the old logo.
